Today HP announced more HP Total Care solutions to help small and medium businesses (SMBs) manage, protect, and grow their business. These new SMB technology solutions and products can help you reduce costs and increase IT efficiency.

HP Virtualization Smart Bundles with Hyper-V

Increase virtualization and realize the full potential of Microsoft® Windows Server® R2 with predefined and performance tested bundles. These smart bundles can help you avoid complicated configuration and sizing decisions.

The HP Virtualization Smart Bundles with Hyper-V allows you to combine storage that is inside an HP ProLiant G6 server or directly attached into one virtualized pool of storage. Combined with HP ProCurve networking solutions, this allows you to quickly implement a fully virtual infrastructure using tested components.

The Smart Bundles with Hyper-V are expected to be available November 16,2009. Availablity may vary by region and will include:

– HP ProLiant or BladeSystem G6 servers
– HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Arrays or HP LeftHand P4000 SAN solutions
– HP ProCurve networking switches
– Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 (Optional via OEM kit)
